After 2 goals and 3 assists in just 2 games, Borussia Dortmund’s Raphaël Guerreiro has won the Bundesliga POTM award for March, earning him his customary SBC.
On first impressions, the SBC seems like a pretty good deal, but when you look closely and look at the price tag of around 60k coins, it’s a VERY good deal.
Let’s have a look at some of his in-game stats:
- 93 Acceleration and having Explosive as his AcceleRATE archetype will make him feel rapid over short distances. (Sadly, his Sprint Speed is only 75, hence why I said short distances).
- Every Dibbling stat Guerreiro has is above 92, with his Agility and Balance being 96, so he’ll be incredibly mobile on the ball.
- Excellent Passing stats, including 94 Short Passing, 92 Crossing, and 91 Vision without any Chemistry Style applied.
- Guerreiro’s high Defence stats will make him a good CM, CDM, or LB, with only his Heading Accuracy of 50 letting that side down.
- And his decent overall Shooting stats, which are all high 80s except his 60 Penalties, will make him relatively decent if you use him as an attacking CM or winger.
POTM Guerreiro also benefits from being highly versatile, as he can start as a CM, LB, LWB, and LM from the get-go, plus he has some great links, such as the recently released Showdown Thomas Meunier, Fantasy FUT Emre Can, and FUT Birthday Mats Hummels, so there are A LOT of positives here.
There are, however, a couple of weaknesses. While Guerreiro’s stats are mostly in the high-80s and 90s, his Sprint Speed is only 75, which isn’t ideal for a winger or a full-back, neither are his Physical stats which, bar his 88 Stamina, are all down in the 60s, and he does only have a 3-star Weak Foot, so this POTM Guerreiro isn’t perfect, but it’s an excellent Item nonetheless.
Which Chemistry Style should you use on POTM Raphaël Guerreiro?
Any Chemistry Style you give POTM Guerreiro will make him Explosive, including leaving him on Basic, so which Chemistry Style you give him depends on where you plan to play him.
- As an LB/LWB, use either a Shadow or an Anchor
- As an LM/LW, I’d recommend a Hunter to boost the Sprint Speed up to 83 and to max out his Shooting stats
- As a CM, I’d be inclined to leave him on Basic to give him a broad upgrade across all of his stats
Bundesliga POTM Raphaël Guerreiro: Complete or Yeet?
With an array of outstanding in-game stats, versatility, and great links, this POTM Raphaël Guerreiro SBC is an absolute no-brainer to complete, especially if you run a Bundesliga squad, and I’m sure a lot of you reading this will have plenty of fodder in your club with the number of packs you’ve opened over the course of FUT Birthday in order to do it so I’d say COMPLETE.
