For the first time in EA Sports FC 24, experience players with TWO PlayStyles+, a unique card design and a return of Team of the Year Icons, expect this year to be one of the best editions ever!
Every Men's Team of the Year Player Ranked
Taking into account their new PlayStyles+ and their stats, we rank all the Men's Team of the Year players.
With that in mind, here are the best Men's Team of the Year players' Power Rankings:
1. Kylian Mbappé
The best player in the game got even better, just short of being the perfect player.
2. Ronaldo
Deserved Team of the Year Icon, the Brazilian has added heading ability to his incredible arsenal of abilities
3. Virgil Van Dijk
The fact that his Gold card is still unbeatable goes to show just how amazing of a defender he is.
4. Lionel Messi
5-Star Skill Moves makes the already incredible dribbling of the Argentinian even better.
5. Erling Haaland
The Norwegian player will be unstoppable in front of goal, whether the ball is in the air or on the ground.
6. Patrick Vieira
With both Intercept and Block PlayStyles+ he is the BEST CDM we have ever seen in the history of the game.
7. Jude Bellingham
The Real Madrid star is quite frankly the best box-to-box CM we've ever seen.
8. Theo Hernandez
Near perfect pace with both incredible defending and attacking output makes him the best fullback in the game.
9. Lothar Matthäus
The ultimate midfielder, he can do everything you need from a football player on the pitch.
10. Rio Ferdinand
Doesn't have the physical presence of Van Dijk which is the only reason he is behind the dutchman.
11. Kevin De Bruyne
Not as good as Bellingham on the ball but his range of passing and shooting is unmatched.
12. Rúben Dias
Great pace and physicality, his strength to push attackers off the ball is only matched by his composure on it.
13. Jeremie Frimpong
Perfect pace with great passing and dribbling PlayStyles make him the best RWB in the game.
14. Franck Ribéry
5-Star Skill Moves and Weak Foot, Technical+ for beating players and Finesse Shot+ for scoring bangers, he's got a bit of everything.
15. Rodri
The Treble Winner's center piece is just a joy to use as a ball playing CDM.
16. Michael Essien
The Ghanaian midfielder is a ball magnet in the middle of the park.
17. Philipp Lahm
Still not great as a fullback but he is an incredible secondary CDM in a pivot.
18. Xavi
Don't be fooled by the overall rating, his in game stats have gotten +5's and +6's.
19. Gianfranco Zola
Short and nimble CAM with both Finesse+ and Dead Ball+ makes him a great asset to have on the pitch.
20. Petr Čech
6'5 goalkeeper with 89 Reactions and all 4 PlayStyles makes him the best goalkeeper in the game right now.

Taking into account their new PlayStyles+ and their stats, we rank all the Women's Team of the Year players.

1. Mia Hamm
Top 3 STs in the game, she's as broken as R9 and Mbappe.
2. Carolina Graham Hansen
The Norwegian woman is easily the best right winger in the game.
3. Alexia Putellas
It doesn't get more perfect than her for an attacking CM.
4. Aitana Bonmatí
As a ball carrier, nobody beats the Ballon d'or winner in midfield 3.
5. Sakina Karchaoui
As good in attack as she is in defence, if you run a 3-back she is the LM for you.
6. Wendie Renard
6'2 with Aerial and Anticipate PlayStyles+ makes her a beast at the back if you can link her.
7. Sophia Smith
The NWSL striker is going to break defensive lines like they're made out of paper with her pace.
8. Sam Kerr
The Chelsea striker's clinical ability inside the box is going to be hard to match.
9. Ona Batlle
Lacks a little in strength but both as a playmaker and a defender she is immaculate.
10. Lena Oberdorf
While the German woman is the cheapest TOTY, she performs a little like old school TOTY Kanté.
11. Millie Bright
99 Strength and Bruiser PlayStyles+ make her incredibly powerful in a duel.
12. Mary Earps
I wish I had something good to say but a 5'8 goalie is just not going to be good despite the stats.
Every TOTY Honorable Mentions Player Ranked
Taking into account their new PlayStyles+ and their stats, we rank all the TOTY Honorable Mentions players.
With that in mind, here are the best TOTY Honorable Mentions players' Power Rankings:
1. Vinícius Jr.
The Brazilian with both the Quick Step and Trickster PlayStyles+ is the hardest winger to pin down that left side.
2. Mohammed Salah
If his second PlayStyles+ was more useful, he may even have made the first spot.
3. Federico Valverde
With both Rapid+ and Relentless+ there isn't a better ball carrier in midfield than him.
4. Kadidiatou Diani
With the mix of Trivela and Whipped Pass PlayStyles+ she can be a playmaker as well as a goal-scorer from wide areas.
5. Jamal Musiala
A little disappointed he didn't get an extra PlayStyles+, would have been an amazing CAM.
6. Kim Min Jae
The former Napoli CB is a physical beast at the back, just lacks a little bit on the ball.
7. Trent Alexander-Arnold
Doesn't quite have the pace to be a good fullback but looks like a decent B2B midfielder.
8. Harry Kane
Some people argue he deserved to be in the actual Team of the Year, I would be one of those but this card just isn't good enough despite the PlayStyles+.
9. Bernardo Silva
If you can utilize his R1 Dribbling, he is an incredible attacking CM.
10. Olga Carmona
From being in the 12th Woman vote to a 3-Star Weak Foot card, she deserved a lot better.
11. Ederson
6'2 goalkeeper with 87 Reactions and three Traits should make him an amazing option but sadly he is a little inconsistent.
When will Team of the Year players be in packs?
While we don't have official confirmation, here is the tentative schedule for the Team of the Year Promo in EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team:
- 19th January - Team of the Year Attackers and Team of the Year Icons Team 1 release
- 21st January - Team of the Year Midfielders release
- 23rd January - Team of the Year Defenders and Team of the Year Icons Team 2 release
- 25th January - FULL Team of the Year release
- 26th January - 12th Man Voted Team of the Year Player and Team of the Year Honorable Mentions release
- 28th January - Team of the Year Icons Team 1 and 2 release
On 28th January at 6PM UK time all possible Team of the Year, Team of the Year Icon and Team of the Year Honorable Mentions will be in packs at the same time.
