Ball-Playing Defender
A modern centre back who is as comfortable playing offside as playing the ball. Capable of moving forward or wider to support build-up play.
Focus Options
Aggressive
When asked to be Aggressive, the Ball-Playing Defender will focus on intercepting apsses and closing down opponents.

The Build-Up focus moves the Ball-playing Defender into more of a holding defensive midfielder during possession.

When set to Defend, the Ball-playing Defender will step up a little to support teammates during possession.

Support
With a Support focus, the Wide Back will move up the side of the pitch to a pass option when their team needs to release pressure.

With an Aggressive focus, the Wide Back will also close down opponents and intercept passes during the defensive phase.
