With the long-standing partnership of EA Sports and the FIFA federation ending we're entering a new ear of football gaming. But when does EA's new franchise kick off? And will there be a FIFA 24 at all?
When will EA Sports FC 24 be released?
The OFFICIAL release dates for EA Sports FC 24 are as follows:
- Closed Beta(Console only): Mid-August
- September 22: Ultimate Edition/Early Access
- September 29: Full Release
Will there be a FIFA 24 released this year?
With all the information we have it is most likely that FIFA 24 will NOT be released this year.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino made a statement “The new FIFA game – the FIFA 25, 26, 27 and so on – will always be the best egame for any girl or boy.”
With FIFA 24 missing from that statement it’s safe to say that FIFA 24 will not be released.
Who will make FIFA 24?
Right now we have no concrete news about a new studio making a partnership with FIFA to make the game.
There are a wide array of good developers out there, Konmai being the biggest one to have made a moderately successful football video game.
Other potential developers include 2K Sports and there’s a slim chance FIFA might approach Sports Interactive and bring the FIFA name to the widely popular Football Manager titles.
