As players, one of the most frustrating things to experience is when the game is tied and your opponent quits, ending the game in a draw.
This usually occurs in unfavourable situations for your opponent where you could have gone on to win the game but by quitting they've made sure you cannot benefit from this match.
EA are trying to combat that and have introduced new ways in which draw quits are processed when determining a the outcome of a match. Let's take a look at how you to get a win when your opponent draw quits in FC 25.
When do you get a Win if your opponent quits while drawing the game?
You will get a win if your opponent quits the game that is drawing by using the Quit option from the in-game pause menu
This will result in a win for you if any ONE of these conditions is met:
- 45+ Minutes have passed in the game
- The quitting player concedes a Penalty
- The quitting player has received a Red Card
When do you NOT get a win if your opponent quits while drawing a game?
Currently you will not get a win if your opponent quits while drawing a game if:
- Your opponent closes the game via dashboarding
- Your opponent disconnects due to network issues
- It has been less than 45 minutes in the game
- The play resumed after the red card was received
EA have announced they are working on eliminating these over time but for now these limitations exist when your opponent leaves while the game is drawing.
How many times can I get a win if my opponent draw quits in FC 25?
You can get Five wins in a Twenty-Four Hour period when your opponent draw quits in FC 25. The limit resets at 12 AM GMT every day.
You will receive a pop-up notification in game when that limit has been reached.
