TOTW 30 Predicted Starting XI
We could be looking at one of the best TOTWs we have seen for a while, with several big-name players potentially making the cut. The likes of Mané, Calhanoglu, Dembélé, Haaland, and Son all look likely to make EA's side.
GK: David De Gea (Fiorentina) - 85 OVR -> 87 OVR:
There were a few goalkeeper options this week, with minimal margins between them in terms of who is likely to get the nod. De Gea made a total of eight saves during Fiorentina's 1-0 win away at Verona. The Spaniard claimed MOTM for his performance, stopping a total of 1.02 expected goals.
LB: Tom Bischof (Munich) - 76 OVR -> 87 OVR:
Munich are edging ever closer to another Bundesliga title, and that is starting to show in their line-ups, with several players getting rested now. Bischof scored twice from LB during their most recent victory, a 3-2 away win over Freiburg. With Bischof being a low-rated gold from Munich, the chances are he also receives a featured upgrade.
CB: Chibuike Nwaiwu (Trabzonspor) - 70 OVR -> 87 OVR:
If there were not a proximity between this potential IF and Nwaiwu's previous IF, he would likely be nailed on for a position in this side. But considering Nwaiwu's first IF came just four weeks ago, there is a risk. That being said, the Nigerian scored a huge goal in the title race, helping Trabzonspor close the gap at the top to a single point by beating Galatasaray 2-1.
RB:Joao Mario (Bologna) - 77 OVR -> 87 OVR:
With Mario having a strong base card, I would expect him to receive a featured IF should he be included this week. The Portuguese defender scored one of Bologna's two goals during their 2-1 away win over Cremonese. Mario was then named MOTM by Gazzetta, which should secure his position in the side.
LM: Sadio Mane (Al-Nassr) - 83 OVR -> 88 OVR:
Al-Nassr improved their winning streak to a ridiculous thirteen consecutive league matches this weekend after a 5-2 home win over Al-Najma. Mané scored two of those five goals, picking up MOTM for doing so, with the Saudi outfit taking another step closer to lifting the title this season.
CM: Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter Milan) - 86 OVR -> 88 OVR:
Inter Milan recorded an impressive 5-2 win over Roma this week, with several IF candidates emerging from that match. Thuram was named MOTM, but with an IF this week, he is ruled out. Both Martinez and Calhanoglu are the remaining options, with the latter recording both a goal and an assist, and Gazzetta awarding the Turkish midfielder a 7.5 match rating.
CDM: Paula Fernandez (Real Sociedad) - 81 OVR -> 88 OVR:
Liga F selections continue to present themselves on a plate, with this week’s edition being Fernández. The Real Sociedad CDM scored twice and assisted another to help guide her side to a convincing 5-1 win away at Alhama. A featured upgrade could result in this card being very usable.
LM: Grimaldo (Leverkusen) - 84 OVR -> 88 OVR:
Leverkusen played out a goal fest this weekend, beating Wolfsburg 6-3. Grimaldo scored two of their six goals, and with EA's tendency to include Grimaldo as an LM, I would expect the same again here. The Bundesliga selections seem rather straightforward this week, with Grimaldo being the best of the bunch.
ST: Ousmane Dembele (PSG) - 90 OVR -> 92 OVR:
Ligue 1 had several low-scoring matches this week, so options were limited as a result. Dembélé is one player who does stand out from the division, however, and with two goals to his name alongside an 8/10 from L'Équipe, his SIF looks extremely likely to occur on Wednesday.
ST: Erling Haaland (Man City) - 90 OVR -> 92 OVR:
All the talk has been about Arsenal this season, but with a League Cup title to their name already and now comfortably into the FA Cup semi-final, are City going under the radar? This is especially true considering they are not officially out of the title race just yet. Haaland excelled throughout, with three goals during an impressive 4-0 win over Liverpool.
ST: Heung Min Son (Los Angeles) - 85 OVR -> 87 OVR:
While Bouanga scored three times during a 6-0 Los Angeles win, there can only be one player from the side included in TOTW. Son is a big name, and EA will be fully aware of that, so his four assists from striker probably give him the edge when it comes to the selection process. Realistically, this one could go either way, however.

TOTW 30 Predicted Subs & Reserves
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo (Chelsea) - 78 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Chelsea progressed with ease from their FA Cup quarter-final, dispatching Port Vale 7-0 to advance. There were several IF candidates from the match, but with a lack of gold defenders this week, I feel that Adarabioyo stands out. The Englishman scored one of the seven goals alongside helping keep the clean sheet.
CM: Ismael Saibari (PSV) - 79 OVR -> 87 OVR:
With Feyenoord drawing 0-0 with Volendam on Sunday, alongside PSV's dramatic 94th-minute winner, it confirms what has been anticipated for a while now, and PSV are officially champions of the Eredivisie this season. Scoring twice and assisting another during their 4-3 win over Utrecht, Saibari is an obvious inclusion for this week’s side.
CM: Manu Morlanes (Mallorca) - 77 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Mallorca caused a massive upset this weekend, beating Real Madrid 2-1. There is not a clear IF candidate from the match; however, I would expect a Mallorca inclusion considering the result. Morlanes is seemingly the best option, having scored one of their two goals from CM.
LM: Martin Satriano (Getafe) - 74 OVR -> 88 OVR:
Another IF with a proximity risk now, but if I am including one of them, I feel I have to include the other. Satriano scored once and assisted another as Getafe secured a 2-0 win at home to Athletic Club.
ST: Josh Coburn (Millwall) - 66 OVR -> 87 OVR:
The Championship has been favoured by EA all year, and with the promotion race being highly contested this season, I would expect Coburn to be included on Wednesday. The striker scored both Millwall goals as they leapfrogged Middlesbrough into second with a 2-1 win over them.
ST: Kiki Van Zanten (Houston) - 69 OVR -> 87 OVR:
The NWSL continues to see inclusions each week, and that should continue into TOTW 30. Zanten is the best option for me after she scored twice during an entertaining 4-3 win over Louisville. With minimal gold striker options, I can see her being included as a featured selection.
ST: Phillip Tiez (Mainz) - 75 OVR -> 85 OVR:
The Bundesliga was harder to select from this week, with Kicker ratings not being released due to the bank holiday. I have had to take a risk as a result. Gold strikers were few and far between, though, so with Tiez scoring twice to help Mainz win 2-1 away at Hoffenheim, he becomes a strong candidate.
LB: Felix Passlack (Hibernian) - 71 OVR -> 85 OVR:
There were a plethora of non-gold defensive options again this week, but I was able to rule out a lot due to external reasons, which leaves the door open for Passlack to sneak in. The German scored once, assisted another, and kept a clean sheet as Hibernian secured a 3-0 win at home to Kilmarnock.
CM: Luka Stojkovic (Zagreb) - 70 OVR -> 85 OVR:
There are still question marks around whether this division can even pick up IFs, but they have seen a promotional inclusion, which suggests there is at least a chance. Zagreb cruised to a 7-0 win over Osijek, with Stojkovic scoring once and assisting another three. So if there’s a chance they can be included, Stojkovic will be.
ST: Kingstone Mutandwa (Ried) - 63 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Ried found themselves two goals down in their relegation play-off match with Altach, but Mutandwa came to their rescue. The Zambian striker came off the bench at half-time to score three times, turning the match on its head and securing a 3-2 win for Ried in doing so.
ST: Paulos Abraham (Hammarby) - 67 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Abraham scored a remarkable six-minute hat-trick this weekend, with goals in the 42nd, 44th, and 46th minutes of the match, helping to lead Hammarby to a 3-0 win at home to Mjällby. There were a few players in contention for the reserves section this weekend, but that six-minute hat-trick really stands out to me.
ST: Youssoufa Moukoko (Kobenhavn) - 73 OVR -> 85 OVR:
Moukoko was a highly hyped youngster, but since making the move from Dortmund in 2025 to København, the talk surrounding him has slowly been dying off. The German produced his best performance for the Danish side so far this weekend, though, scoring three times as they secured a 7-0 win over Silkeborg.
