EA Sports is introducing Training Camp Evolutions to FUT, offering a hands-off or "AFK" (away from keyboard) way to upgrade your players through the Web and Mobile Companion Apps.
Unlike the standard Evolutions we've seen in FC 24 and FC 25, these upgrades happen passively over time and don’t require you to play matches to complete levels.

How do I activate a Training Camp Evolution?
- Exclusive to Companion Apps: Activate only via the Evolutions section on the FUT Web or Mobile Companion Apps.
- You must exit ultimate team via the FUT menus on console/PC first to access your club on the Companion Apps.
How do I complete levels?
- Wait out the level timer: Each level will have any associated time to complete. Simply start the evolution and the countdown will begin.
Can I use the player in-game while they’re training?
- No. The player is locked and cannot be used during the upgrade period but remains visible in your club.
Do I need to be in FUT for the time to count down?
- No. The time will count down even if you are signed out of console and companion.
Can I remove a Training Camp player?
- Yes, but they won't get upgrades: Your only options are waiting for expiry, completing the evolution, or cancelling the evolution and receiving no upgrades.
How do I claim upgrades?
- Claim Anywhere: Collect rewards in-game or via Companion Apps. Claiming a level automatically starts the next tier (if applicable).
Do these count toward my active Evolution limit?
- No. Training Camp Evolutions have their own separate limit (currently one active slot). For example, when the standard evolution limit is 2, you can run two standard Evolutions and one Training Camp Evolution simultaneously.
How long do Training Evolutions take to complete?
- Time varies: Ranges from a few hours to over 30 days. Longer durations will typically offer better rewards.
Are Training Camp Evolutions free?
- Yes and no: Some will require Coins or FC Points, others are free, just like regular Evos. If canceled, you won’t get any spent currency back.
Can I use a player active in a standard Evolution?
- No: Players in an active Evolution can’t start a Training Camp Evolution.
