FWBenFUT Birthday in FC 26 introduces a brand new Evolution mechanic called the Birthday Bakery, which lets you permanently add PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ to your FUT Birthday Player Items. Here is everything you need to know about how it works.
What Is the Birthday Bakery?
For the first time in FUT Birthday history, all FUT Birthday Player Items are released completely without any PlayStyles or PlayStyle+. The Birthday Bakery is the only way to give them PlayStyles — it is a dedicated Evolution experience that lets you choose exactly which PlayStyles or PlayStyle+ you want on your FUT Birthday players. There are three separate Bakery Evolution tabs available, each offering a different tier of upgrade.
The Three Bakery Evolution Tabs
Birthday Bakery PlayStyles (Free)
This free path lets you add up to 8 base PlayStyles from the full pool of 30 outfield base PlayStyles. There is no cooldown timer and it is infinitely repeatable, meaning you can keep re-applying it as many times as you like.
Birthday Bakery PS+ Free
This free path lets you add up to 2 PlayStyle+ from the full pool of 30 outfield PlayStyle+. This tab has a 6-day cooldown timer and can be used once before needing to refresh.
Birthday Bakery PS+ Premium (Paid)
This paid path also lets you add up to 2 PlayStyle+ from the full pool of 30 outfield PlayStyle+. Unlike the free PS+ tab, this one has no cooldown timer and is infinitely repeatable. Each PlayStyle+ evo costs 100 FP or 15000 coins.
Will Using the FUT Birthday Bakery Make My Player Untradeable?
Yes — enrolling any FUT Birthday Player Item into a Bakery Evolution will permanently make them untradeable. Even if you purchased the card from the Transfer Market, the moment you submit them into any Bakery Evolution tab they will be locked to your club and cannot be re-listed. Make sure you are completely happy with the player before putting them in.
How to Get FUT Birthday Player Items
FUT Birthday Player Items are available in packs during two separate windows:
- Team 1: 6 March – 13 March
- Team 2: 13 March – 20 March
You can also buy eligible FUT Birthday items from the Transfer Market during these windows. Once you have one, navigate to the Evolutions section and find the Birthday Bakery tabs to begin.
Important Eligibility Rules
- Only FUT Birthday Player Items can be used — no other card types are eligible.
- FUT Birthday ICONs and Heroes are excluded from the Bakery.
- If you applied a cosmetic Evolution rarity on a FUT Birthday item, that player is no longer eligible — the card must remain on the original FUT Birthday rarity.
- FUT Birthday card shells earned through regular campaign Evolutions are not eligible — only pack-pulled or market-bought FUT Birthday items qualify.
- There are no Cosmetic Evolutions available that grant non-FUT Birthday players the FUT Birthday rarity, so there is no workaround.
Does the Birthday Bakery Expire After FUT Birthday?
No. The Birthday Bakery tabs remain live beyond the FUT Birthday promo window all the way through to September, so you are not rushed to use them during the event itself. You can keep adding PlayStyles and PlayStyle+ to your FUT Birthday items throughout the year.
