FWBenThe new reveal trailer for EA Sports FC 26 just dropped and with it we saw some really exciting new features coming to the new title this year.
Let's dive in and take a look at the top 5 new features we can expect in FC 26:
5. Dividing Gameplay into Two Presets
Why sacrifice realism for a higher pace, arcade-style gameplay? FC 26 will allow you to choose between two presets: Competitive and Authentic Gameplay
Each preset has been optimized for online and offline modes so you can choose how you want your FC 26 experience to play out.
4. Low Driven Power Shots
With this new mechanic you will be able to combine the lethality and pace of the Power Shot with the quick and unstoppable Low Driven Shots introduced in FC 25.
While the exact mechanics aren't clear yet, we might have a similar precision aiming system that we do now for Power Shots controlling these.
3. New PlayStyles
We will be seeing at least 3 new PlayStyles being added to the roster in FC 26:
- Enforcer
- Precision Header
- Aerial Fortress
These should add another layer of sophistication to how you play the game, allowing players to express their physicality even better and there could be more coming as well.
2. More Responsive Gameplay
One Frame Passing should reduce the time it takes for players to passing inputs which should help counter the dreaded input lag in online gameplay.
With the speed of the ball in passes being increased with the new fluid dribbling, high agility turns and quicker pace we should be able to get faster, more responsive gameplay in FC 26.
1. Ultimate Team Tournaments
We have been wanting additional competitive game modes outside of Rivals, FUT Champions and Squad Battles for a while now and they have listened, Tournaments will be returning to FC 26.
While it's not clear yet if the original Daily Knockout Tournaments will be returning or if they will have a new system but this should add some variety to the Ultimate Team experience.
