FWBenEA SPORTS FC 26 is introducing two new token systems as part of the World's Game update on June 4th. Festival of Football Tokens and FUT Champions Tokens are replacing traditional reward structures in Ultimate Team, giving players more control over the rewards they earn.
Here's everything you need to know about both systems.
Festival of Football Tokens
Festival of Football Tokens are a new currency in Ultimate Team, and EA has confirmed that Tokens will become the primary way to earn rewards in FUT moving forward.
How To Earn Festival of Football Tokens
Festival of Football Tokens are earned through gameplay and in-game activities. The confirmed sources are:
- Division Rivals
- Squad Battles
- Rush
- Live Events
- Objectives
- Squad Building Challenges
- Journey of Nations objectives
Festival of Football Tokens are not available in store packs. All tokens are earned through gameplay.
Token Limits
There is a weekly cap of 1,000 Festival of Football Tokens, with a total of 5,000 Tokens available across the full campaign.
Festival of Football Token Store
The FOF Token Store contains the following rewards:
- Packs
- Player Picks
- Evo Consumables
- Campaign Player Items
- Evo Cosmetics
- 5 Marquee Player Items (Greats of the Game ICONs)
The 5 Marquee Greats of the Game ICONs and some of the larger chase rewards are static and will remain in the store throughout the season.
Weekly Rotating Rewards
The following rewards refresh on a weekly basis:
- Campaign Player Items — 3 new player items from the current campaign replace the existing 3 each week.
- Low Cost Evo Consumable — A 100 Token reward that refreshes weekly, offering a different Evolution stat boost each time.
- Evo Cosmetic — A shell change for the current campaign, refreshing weekly to match the active campaign.
- Packs and Player Picks — Certain packs and picks update each week to reflect the currently available campaign items in packs.
FUT Champions Tokens
Starting in Season 8: Festival of Football, FUT Champions is also moving to a token-based reward system with a dedicated store.
How To Earn FUT Champions Tokens
FUT Champions Tokens are earned through Weekend League. Players who finish with a high win count will still earn additional Coins on top of their Champions Tokens.
How FUT Champions Tokens Change Rewards
The new system is designed to give players more flexibility based on their skill level and availability.
Players who only pick up a few wins each weekend can save their Champions Tokens over multiple weekends and put them towards bigger rewards. Players who consistently finish with high win counts earn additional Coins alongside their tokens, giving more control over which specific rewards to target.
FUT Champions Token Store
The dedicated Champs Token Store contains the following rewards:
- Packs
- Player Picks
- National Pride Red Player Items
- Evo Cosmetics
Weekly Rotating Rewards
The following rewards refresh on a weekly basis:
- National Pride Red Player Items — 3 new player items replace the existing 3 each week.
- Packs and Player Picks — Certain packs and picks update each week to reflect the currently available campaign items in packs.
