This pack is loaded with guaranteed high-rated fodder and multiple chances to pack a premium Icon or Hero for your Ultimate Team. The offer is only available for a limited time—expiring on June 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.—so you will want to claim it immediately.
Here is everything included in the pack and exactly how to add it to your club.
What is in the PlayStation Plus ICONS Pack?
This exclusive bundle contains four separate items:
- 1x 84+ Starting XI Gold Pack: Contains 11 untradeable Gold players rated 84 OVR or higher. This pack drops in a set formation guarantee: 1 Goalkeeper, 4 Defenders, 3 Midfielders, and 3 Attackers.
- 1x ATT 1-of-5 Max 91 Icon or Hero Pick: Choose between five Attackers.
- 1x MID 1-of-5 Max 91 Icon or Hero Pick: Choose between five Midfielders.
- 1x DEF 1-of-5 Max 91 Icon or Hero Pick: Choose between five Defenders or Goalkeepers.
While a "Max 91" rating cap might rule out packing an endgame Pele or Ronaldinho, these picks can still drop incredible cards like Thierry Henry or special Hero variants like Thunderstruck Schelin.
However, be aware of the specific limits on the Icon/Hero picks. The pool only includes base and campaign items released between game launch and March 31, 2026. Furthermore, EA has explicitly excluded the following card types from these picks:
- Team of the Year (TOTY) Icons
- Champion Icons
- TOTY Honourable Mention Heroes
- Classic XI Heroes
Important Warning: No Promo Cards!
Before you get too excited about the 84+ Starting XI Gold Pack, there is a massive catch you need to know about.
This pack is hard-locked to Base Gold items.
Even if a player currently has a Team of the Season (TOTS) or other special promo card in packs, you will only receive their standard Base Gold version. For example, if you pack Rúben Neves while his TOTS item is technically "in packs," the PlayStation Plus pack will only give you his standard 84 OVR Gold card.
Because of this restriction, there is absolutely no reason to save this pack for a specific promo week. Open it immediately and use the guaranteed 84+ fodder to complete your daily SBC grind.
How to Claim the Free Pack
Claiming the pack is incredibly simple, but it must be done through the PlayStation Store, not in-game.
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Turn on your PS4 or PS5 and navigate to the PlayStation Store from the home screen.
- Go to the search bar and type "PlayStation Plus icon".
- Scroll down to the Add-Ons section in the search results.
- Select the PlayStation®Plus ICONS Pack (It should be listed for £0.00 / $0.00).
- Click Download/Redeem.
- Boot up FC 26 and enter Ultimate Team.
- Navigate to the Store and check your My Packs section. (Note: If you already had Ultimate Team open while redeeming the pack, you may need to back out to the main FC 26 menu and re-enter Ultimate Team for the pack to appear).
