The card is amazing with a lot of key characteristics such as:
- 91 Acceleration and 90 Sprint Speed with a Controlled AcceleRATE type and his Average body type is incredible for a defender
- 85 Positioning and 85 Shot Power is good if he is ever in a goal scoring position
- 87 Vision with 86 Crossing and 91 Short Passing allows him to play out of pressure and find good passes out from the back
- Great dribbling stats with 84 Agility, 90 Reactions, 89 Ball Control, 85 Dribbling and 86 Composure with the Flair Trait makes him feel pretty smooth on the ball
- Elite defensive stats with 90 Interceptions, 86 Heading Accuracy, 89 Defensive Awareness, 91 Standing Tackle and 90 Sliding Tackle allowing him to snatch the ball from attacker’s feet with ease
- Good physicals with 84 Jumping, 90 Stamina allowing him to play the entire game without needing to be substituted and 89 Strength allowing him to push players off the ball and win duels
- 4-Star Weak Foot lets him use both feet in most situations to execute shots/passes
His ideal position in game is at CB. He works well in 4-Back, 3-Back and 5-Back setups as his high defensive stats and high pace allow him to track back and get the ball from nearly every situation. He is quite easily Top 5 CBs in FIFA 23.
He has a similar player profile to Prime Icon Cafu and Prime Icon Zambrotta. He is a more physical defender than Cafu and lacks the Skills and Weak Foot of Zambrotta but has some better stats defensively.
- 72 Balance with his body type might make him feel clunky while turning
- 3-Star Skill moves aren’t ideal if you play him as a fullback
- High/Medium workrates aren’t ideal for a CB
- 79 Aggression is something that makes his AI slow to lunge into tackles and loose balls which might be felt at CB

The suggested Chemistry Style for Prime Carlos Alberto is: ANCHOR. The +4 boost in Pace and the +5 boost in Defending boost his strengths while the +4 boost in Aggression and the +8 boost in Strength cover for his weaknesses in those areas and bring the best out of him in game.
