The Inter Milan legend has a very expensive SBC coming in at a price of 475.1K coins and needs 6 segments to unlock the card.
The card has some good characteristics such as:
- 91 Acceleration and Sprint Speed with the ability to have the Explosive AcceleRATE type will make him quite quick in game
- 90 Positioning, 88 Finishing and 88 Long Shots with the Outside Foot Shot Trait are going to give him good shooting options both inside and outside the box
- 87 Vision, 91 Crossing, 92 Short Passing and 87 Long Passing gives him all the options needed for a wide player to play the ball into the box
- 90 Agility, 88 Reactions, 92 Ball Control and 93 Dribbling with the Flair Trait allow him to quickly and effectively execute Skill Moves
- 86 Stamina means he will be able to play for 70+ minutes before needing to be substituted
- He has 5-Star Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot allowing him to execute all the meta skills and execute shots/passes with relatively good accuracy on his weaker foot
- High/Low workrates are ideal for an attacker
His best position in game would be as the RW/RCF in a 4-3-3 variant or the 4-3-2-1. He could even play the RCAM position in a 4-2-3-1 or the 4-2-2-2. His pace, skill moves, shooting and traits allow him to be the best version of himself in those areas.
He has a similar player profile to Winter Wildcards João Félix. Having the 5-Star Skill Moves and those dribbling/shooting stats allows them to thrive in that wide right sided area.
The card has a lot of drawbacks including:
- 81 Balance with his Average body type will make him feel very clunky and heavy in game
- 83 Composure by itself isn’t too low but combined with his 78 Strength and 76 Aggression will make him miss shots/passes when pressured by defenders easily and be easier to win if challenged in a physical duel
- 84 Shot Power isn’t very good if you want to try shooting from outside the box
- 75 Curve takes away from his Outside Foot Shot traits and you will need to time your shots to get that accuracy and curve
What Chemistry Style to use for World Cup Icon Luís Figo?
The suggested Chemistry Style for World Cup Icon Luís Figo is: ENGINE. The +4 boost in Pace and Passing is good but the most significant boost is in the +8 Balance and +6 Dribbling. This will help compensate a little for his clunkiness and cover for that weakness.
World Cup Icon Luís Figo: Complete or Yeet?
Despite being the most usable version of Luís Figo we’ve seen this year, the card has too many flaws and if you try to cover up one the other persists and the end result is a card that is very average in how he performs in game. Given that Team of the Season is around the corner this SBC is overpriced and not worth it. My verdict: YEET!
