He has some very good stats and key characteristics such as:
- 87 Acceleration and 84 Sprint Speed with the Controlled AcceleRATE type gives him decent pace to man the middle of the park
- 88 Vision, 94 Short Passing and 87 Long Passing allows him to distribute the ball to attackers and play out of pressure
- 88 Agility, 93 Balance, 94 Reactions, 89 Ball Control and 97 Composure give him very responsive movement and turns in game
- 93 Interceptions, 93 Defensive Awareness, 95 Standing Tackle and 88 Sliding Tackle are phenomenal for tracking movement and breaking plays in midfield
- Incredible physicality with 86 Jumping, 93 Stamina, 87 Strength and 90 Aggression which will allow him to win 50/50’s and duels with most players
- A 4-Star Weak Foot will allow him to play passes out from his weaker side accurately if pressured
- Low/High Workrates make sure he will always occupy defensive spaces and not try to join attacks making his interceptions and line breaking even better
His ideal position in game would be as a secondary CDM in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-2-2-2. His small frame and high end defensive capabilities allow him to be dynamic in that role and chase the ball down to break down your opponent’s attacks and build ups.
He has a similar player profile to FUT Birthday N’Golo Kanté. They have similar builds and are extremely effective at closing down players aggressively and recovering the ball with another player in midfield covering them to offer a closer outlet to play out of.
The card does have a few drawbacks such as:
- His shooting stats are terrible so if he ends up in the final third he’ll be practically useless
- 3-Star Skill Moves combined with is 74 Dribbling is quite low and will be noticeable when he’s on the ball especially with his Average body type
- 59 Heading Accuracy and 86 Jumping with his 5’9 Height makes him terrible in the air

We're halfway through Team of the Season and there’s a lot of good midfield options around so he’s not going to stand out too much but at the price he’s available for this card will slot into most teams still and give impactful performances which makes this SBC worth it. My verdict: Complete!
