What is the EA FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition?

New this year, the Ultimate Plus Edition is the biggest pre-order bundle EA has ever offered, designed specifically for hardcore Football Ultimate Team players.

Important Warning: This edition is only available from July 23 to August 31. You cannot buy it after August 31, and you cannot upgrade to it later.

• 10,000 FC Points

What bonuses do you get with the EA FC 27 Ultimate Edition?

The Ultimate Edition returns as the familiar premium option, but your rewards depend on when you buy it.

If you pre-order by August 31 (Early Bird):

• FUT Bonuses: 85+ OVR International ICON, 7 days Early Access, Season 1 Premium Pass, 6,000 FC Points, and an Extra Evo Slot.
• Career Mode: Pre-Order Challenges, Dynamic OVR Pre-Season Boost, 3 ICONs/Heroes, 5-Star Coach, 5-Star Youth/Senior Scouts, and 5 Manager Live Challenge Slots.

If you pre-order after August 31 but before September 24:
You receive everything listed above, except you miss out on the 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item.

If you purchase on or after September 25 (Global Launch):
You only get the base FC Points, Evolution Slot, Career Mode items, and The Grounds items. You do NOT get Early Access, the Season 1 Pass, or the 85+ ICON.

When will players get their bonus FC Points?

Ultimate Edition (6,000 Points Total)

You will receive your first drop of 2,000 FC Points immediately upon your first login. The remaining points will be delivered in drops of 2,000 on the 15th of each following month until you reach 6,000.

Ultimate Plus Edition (10,000 Points Total)

Your first 2,000 points will hit your account on your first login. After that, you will receive 2,000 points on the 15th of each month across five months until the full 10,000 points are delivered.

What bonuses do you get with the EA FC 27 Standard Edition?

If you just want to play the game on the global launch day without the premium price tag, the Standard Edition is your go-to.

Here is what you receive for pre-ordering:

• Base Game: Full EA FC 27 game at global launch on September 25.
• Career Mode: Pre-Order Challenges, 3 ICONs/Heroes, 5-Star Coach, and 5-Star Youth Scout.
• The Grounds: Signature Sweatsuit, Tier 3 AMP inspired by Mbappé, and 2x AXP Multipliers for 10 Matches.
• FC 26 Bonus: 92+ OVR ICON Player Item. (Not available on Nintendo platforms).

EA FC 27 Ultimate vs Ultimate Plus Edition: Which should you get?

If you plan on pre-ordering FC 27 before the August 31 deadline, deciding between the two premium versions comes down to how much you play Ultimate Team. The Ultimate Plus version costs an additional $50, but it offers the following extra bonuses over the regular Ultimate Edition:

• 4,000 Extra FC Points (10,000 total instead of 6,000)
• Premium Season Passes for Season 2 through Season 5
• 1 of 5 Hall of FUT Player Pick (Akinfenwa, Giovani dos Santos, Remy, Fellaini, or Ellia)
• 1x Extra FC 26 Evolution (99 PHY Stat Evo)

If you think these extra bonuses, especially the four extra Premium Passes and the bump in FC Points, are worth the higher upfront price, then the Ultimate Plus edition is a great choice. However, if you are not interested in paying for future season passes right now, the regular Ultimate Edition pre-ordered before August 31 is still the smartest way to maximize the bonuses for your money.

Which version should I buy?

If you are a hardcore Ultimate Team grinder who plays all year round, the Ultimate Plus Edition offers incredible value with 10,000 FC Points and five full seasons of Premium Passes. Just remember you have to buy it before August 31.

If you want the 7 days of Early Access and a nice starting boost of 6,000 FC Points to kick off your FUT journey, the Ultimate Edition is still the perfect sweet spot.

However, if you are a casual player who mostly sticks to offline modes like Career Mode or Kick-Off, the Standard Edition will give you everything you need without the premium price tag.
