Power Shot definitely comes across as one of the most exciting features of FIFA 23, it is fully manual and will require considerably skill to aim accurately. There will definitely be a risk involved, but the Gameplay Producers have promised significant reward, we presume goals, if you can get it right. Balancing shooting has involved some changes to manual and assisted shooting on normal shots which should change things up for players going into FIFA 23.
It looks like Technical Dribbling will prove to be the most significant change for returning players. It'll require you to take advantage of the player's momentum to maneuverer the player successfully. The LB/L1 or RB/R1 modifiers can help if more control is needed. Furthering the difficulty for dribblers, improvements have been made to the responsiveness and balancing of jockey. Defensive depth has been increased though, and this should give the attackers an advantage.
One of the most exciting elements is the Free Kick rework, which is a through back to Free Kick systems of old and feels much more intuitive. Beyond this, there is plenty more discussed in this week's FUT Weekly Podcast episode.
