Team of the Season is here and with that comes Team of the Season Swaps! EA has dropped their classic Swaps system with the Token system. Instead, Swaps rewards have been embedded into season rewards and at every 5 levels of your standard season you receive options to pick between swaps players or fodder packs and player picks.
In this article we’ll break down each reward set and suggest our best pick in them.
Should you pick Team of the Season Moments Giovanni Reyna or Five 85+ Players Pack from Level 5 Season Rewards?
Option 1: TOTS Moments Giovanni Reyna
✅ 5-Star Skill Moves, 98 Agility, 99 Dribbling, 92 Reactions and Composure
✅ Good Shooting, Passing, Stamina and Strength
❌ 3-Star Weak Foot, Clunky Body Type
❌ Low Aggression
Option 2: Five 85+ Players Pack
- High min. Rating
- Can open or keep for desired team in packs
- Low number of players but chance for high rated cards
Verdict: Unless you’re a Borussia Dortmund or USA fan and need the links, the best option for Level 5 Season Rewards is the Five 85+ Players Pack
Should you pick Team of the Season Moments Dimitri Payet or 85+ x10 Players pack from Level 10 Season Rewards?
Option 1: TOTS Moments Dimitri Payet
✅ 5-Star Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot, 90+ in all shooting stats
✅ Outside Foot Shot and Flair Traits, 93 Strength, Great Passing
✅ 90+ in all Dribbling Stats except Balance
❌ Stocky Body Type, Low Aggression, Low Jumping
Option 2: 85+ x10 Players Pack
- High min. Rating
- 10 cards allows for bigger cards to be packed as well as fodder
Verdict: The Winter Wildcards Payet card was cracked in game and this one will be too, but in the middle of Team of the Season both options are equally good. Slightly better option in Team of the Season Moments Dimitri Payet.
Should you pick Team of the Season Moments Moises Caicedo or Fifteen 83+ Players Pack from Level 15 Season Rewards?
Option 1: TOTS Moments Moises Caicedo
✅ 99 Stamina, High Pace, 90+ in all Defending stats except Heading Accuracy
✅ Very good Dribbling stats, 90+ Ball Control, Composure, Balance
✅ 84 Strength, 90 Aggression, 97 Jumping making him a dominant midfielder
✅ High/High Workrates, Good outside the box Shooting, 92 Short Passing
❌ 3-Star Skill Moves and 3-Star Weak Foot, difficult to link Nation(Ecuador)
Option 2: Fifteen 83+ Players Pack
- High volume of players is good
- Low min. Rating means high chance of lower rated cards fill up the pack
Verdict: The pack has a chance of being bad while the Caicedo card is very similar, almost better than the 1.6 Million FUT Birthday N'Golo Kanté makes it an easy choice. Has to be Team of the Season Moments Moises Caicedo.
Should you pick Twenty Five 84+ Players Pack, FUT Birthday Icon Marcel Desailly or 1 of 3 EFIGS Team of the Season Player Pick from Level 20 Season Rewards?
Option 1: Twenty Five 84+ Players Pack
- Decent min. Rating reducing the number of bad pulls
- Twenty Five cards in one pack allows for a higher chance at the biggest cards
- Lots of fodder to be collected for the big SBCs
Option 2: FUT Birthday Icon Marcel Desailly
✅ 5-Star Weak Foot, 90+ in all Defending Stats
✅ 88 Reactions and 93 Composure so he’ll keep the ball firmly after retrieving it
✅ 90+ Pace with Shadow, Lengthy AcceleRATE, 94 Strength and 95 Aggression
❌ 2-Star Skill Moves, very low Passing and Dribbling stats
Option 3: 1 of 3 EFIGS Team of the Season Player Pick
- Only top 5 leagues means the best players are in there
- Only 3 options isn’t good
- No min. Rating means a higher chance of packing bad players
Verdict: The player pick has a high chance of being bad and while Desailly is a very good card, he is available on the market and TOTS Defenders will be readily available. The uses of such a big fodder pack can’t be underplayed so our choice is: Twenty Five 84+ Players Pack.
Should you pick Flashback Jesus Navas or Five 85+ Players Pack from Level 25 Season Rewards?
Option 1: Flashback Jesus Navas
✅ 5-Star Skill Moves, Short and Lean body type, 91+ in all Dribbling stats
✅ 96 Acceleration, 93 Sprint Speed, 90+ in all Passing stats except Freekicks
✅ Early Crosser Trait, 90 Interceptions, 92 Defensive Awareness, 90 Sliding Tackle
✅ 95 Stamina, 90 Jumping, 90 Aggression
❌ 3-Star Weak Foot, 75 Strength, 70 Finishing
Option 2: Five 85+ Players Pack
- High min. Rating
- Can open or keep for desired team in packs
- Low number of players but chance for high rated cards
Verdict: At Level 25 the fodder pack is not valuable enough in front of an elite card in a rare position so our choice is Flashback Jesus Navas.
Should you pick Thirty 84+ Players Pack, FUT Birthday Icon Wayne Rooney or 1 of 5 90+ PL/LaLiga/Ligue 1 Team of the Season Player Pick from Level 30 Season Rewards?
Option 1: Thirty 84+ Players Pack
- Extremely high volume of players in a single pack
- Min. Rating at 84 is very good
- Very high chance of packing top end cards as well as lots of fodder for SBCs
Option 2: FUT Birthday Icon Wayne Rooney
✅ 5-Star Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot, 95 Shot Power, 94 Positioning
✅ 93 Finishing, Shot Power and Volleys, 91 Acceleration and 89 Sprint Speed

- 5 options to pick from eliminates chances of not getting any good picks
- Min. Rating cap is good as player pool is trimmed of bad players
- Only top 3 Leagues trims it down to only the best cards available
Verdict: A good chance for a top card from the Player Pick but only one player in hand at the end of the season isn’t very good especially since it’s still chance based. Rooney is a very good card and if you pick him you’re guaranteed a top Striker/CAM/Attacking CM. With the fodder pack you get a very large amount of cards, good fodder for SBCs and a better chance of packing more than one top end Team of the Season card which is why our verdict is the Thirty 84+ Players Pack.
