There were many questions surrounding how the FUT Champs Finals rewards would be impacted with the World Cup starting, as it was unlikely EA would continue providing a Team of the Week, which directly impacts the FUT Champions Player Picks.
We finally have an update in-game for how the FUT Champs rewards are going to change with TOTW not being in packs. Essentially every FUT Champs Player Pick is now replaced with an 84+ Player Pick, and depending on which rank you finish, these picks might contain 2, 3, or 4-player options in each pick. What will the next FIFA 23 promo be? Black Friday & World Cup Content Incoming
Earlier this week, EA updated the FIFA 23 loading screen to confirm that we would be receiving both Black Friday and a Road To The FIFA World Cup promo on Friday 25th November. You can find the screenshot of this below.
Today, we got an updated loading screen that provides a bit more information on what we could expect from the content coming tomorrow. While this loading screen didn't give any details on the World Cup Icons that we are expecting, but it gives some hints at who we can expect from the Road To The FIFA World Cup promo.
There are many questions surrounding the format to this new Road to the FIFA World Cup promotion as it won't be upgradable cards based on how far teams advance because that is what Path to Glory was for. It seems like we might be getting performance-based players based on the qualification path, similar to what we see from UCL Team of the Group Stage etc.
With the player on the left, it shows the League instead of a team which means we should be seeing Heroes featured in this as well, which is very interesting to see. It's also worth nothing, initially this was expected to be released at the usual 6PM UK time on Friday 25th November, but now it's showing as 2PM UK time.
