While Europe is a massive continent with eight different sub-groups to clear, you can complete the entire set in just 13 matches with the right squad sequencing. Along the way, you will also unlock the 95 OVR Journey of Nations Gerd Müller as the primary group reward.
Here is exactly how to build your squads and what to do in each match to finish the continent efficiently.
Europe objectives reference
To finish the overall Completionist group, you need to complete the following eight specific objective groups. You can click through to see the exact requirements for each:
- Bosnia and Herzegovina + Czechia
- Switzerland + Croatia
- Austria + Scotland
- Türkiye + Sweden
- Norway + Belgium
- Portugal + Netherlands
- Germany + France
- England + Spain
Before you start, be sure to check the individual objective descriptions within the sub-groups so you do not miss specific shot or assist requirements and end up playing extra games.
The 13-Game Shortcut
Because the requirements stack across different nations, you will be heavily rotating your squad. Pay close attention to the required game modes, because the first six games must be played in Squad Battles (Min. World Class), while Games 7-9 require Live Events.
Games 1-3
Start in Squad Battles (Min. World Class) and use a 4-4-2 formation to cleanly fit the objective requirements.
Squad Setup:
- 6x England players
- 1x Bosnia and Herzegovina player
- 1x Czechia player
- 1x Türkiye player
- 1x Croatia player
- 1x Austria player
Tasks in EVERY game (1-3):
- Assist with a Through Ball.
- Assist 2 goals with a Through Ball using an Austrian player.
Tasks to complete AT LEAST ONCE within these 3 games:
- Score 4 goals in 1 match.
- Score 3 Chip Shots.
Games 4-5
Stay in Squad Battles (Min. World Class) and keep the 4-4-2.
Squad Setup:
- 6x England players
- 4x Netherlands players
- 1x Scotland player
Tasks in EVERY game (4-5):
- Assist with a Lobbed Through Ball.
Tasks to complete AT LEAST ONCE within these 2 games:
- Assist 1 goal with a Cross.
- Score 1 goal from Outside the Box.
Game 6
Play one final game in Squad Battles (Min. World Class) with the 4-4-2.
Squad Setup:
Tasks for Game 6:
- Assist with a Through Ball.
Games 7-9
Move over to Live Events for the next three matches.
Squad Setup:
Tasks in EVERY game (7-9):
- Score a Finesse Shot from outside the box.
- Assist with a Through Ball.
Tasks to complete AT LEAST ONCE within these 3 games:
- Score a Volley with a German player.
- Assist a goal with a Backheel using a German player.
- Score a goal off the woodwork.
Games 10-12
You can play these matches in Any Game Mode.
Squad Setup:
- 6x Netherlands players
- 3x Norway players
- 1x Switzerland player
- 1x Sweden player
Tasks in EVERY game (10-12):
- Score a Low Driven Shot.
Tasks to complete AT LEAST ONCE within these 3 games:
- Score 4 goals in 1 game with a Striker.
- Assist 3 goals with an Attacker.
Game 13
Finish the final match in Any Game Mode.
Squad Setup:
Tasks for Game 13:
- Assist with a Through Ball.
- Score 2 goals from outside the box.
The Reward
If you follow this 13-game method cleanly, you will complete the Europe Completionist group. Your immediate reward is the 95 OVR Journey of Nations Gerd Müller, a lethal striker for any Ultimate Team squad.
More importantly, finishing Europe completes the final continent in the Journey of Nations Completionist path and puts Maradona within reach.
How to unlock 97 OVR Journey of Nations Diego Maradona
Once you have completed all five continent Completionist groups, there is one final step left to unlock 97 OVR Journey of Nations Diego Maradona.
You need to play 1 match in any game mode while having all of the following players in your starting XI:
- Journey of Nations Hugo Sanchez
- Journey of Nations Saeed Al Owairan
- Journey of Nations Jay-Jay Okocha
- Journey of Nations Carlos Alberto
- Journey of Nations Gerd Müller
