The Colombian wizard who dazzled the world with his skill on the ball and earned his move to Liverpool last year, the FUT Baller Luis Diaz SBC is available in FIFA Ultimate Team now!
The ex FC Porto man has had some injury issues this season but everyone remembers his phenomenal skills and exploits last year earning the silver medal in the UEFA Champions League with his club.
He comes in for a cheap price of 14.9K coins and can be easily unlocked.
FUT Ballers have an upgraded version that can be unlocked by completing unique "Play to Style'' objectives. To unlock the 88 FUT Ballers Luis Diaz you need to "Score a Finesse goal in 5 separate matches using FUT Ballers Luis Diaz is Squad Battles on min. Semi-Pro(or Rivals)".
The 86 rated version of Luis Diaz has quite a few meta characteristics including:
- 93 Acceleration, 92 Sprint Speed with 89 Agility and his ability to be Explosive AcceleRATE type makes him extremely rapid over short distances
- 4-Star Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot combination gives him a lot of key tools on the ball
- 84 Positioning, 83 Finishing and 87 Shot Power with 85 Long Shots give him decent shooting ability both inside and outside the box
- At 5’10 with a Lean body type he can be quick on the dribble combined with his 88 Ball Control and 90 Dribbling
- 91 Stamina means he can play through most games for the full 90 minutes
- He’s very easy to link with Premier League and Liverpool players
He is a very traditional left-winger who cuts in from the wings and shoots from his strong right foot. His ideal position in FIFA 23 would be LW/LCAM. He will play best when he is used as a shooting option with a lone striker in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1.
He has a very unique player profile so it’s hard to pinpoint a player similar to him being a goal scoring winger.
His 86 rated card has a few drawbacks including:
- 76 Balance is very low and will make it hard for him to turn quickly
- His passing is very average with most stats being close to 80 so he won’t be able to provide a lot of final ball passes
- With 79 Jumping and 63 Heading Accuracy with his height take him out as a heading option
- 75 Strength and 76 Aggression make it easier for defenders to physically push him off the ball
- 84 Reactions and 84 Composure are not enough at this point in the game cycle
His 88 Rated card has some very good boosts including +1’s in Pace, Passing, Defending and Physicals with +3’s in his Shooting. His most significant boosts come in Dribbling with all in-game stats being boosted to 92 with +16 in Balance and +8 in Reactions and Composure to get there. These boosts cover up more than a few of his drawbacks and make him a very good card.
These boosts make his card significantly better and put him in the same player profile as his Egyptian club-mate In-Form Mohammed Salah.
What Chemistry Style to use for FUT Ballers Luis Diaz?
The suggested Chemistry Style for FUT Ballers Luis Diaz is: ENGINE. Both versions of the card benefit from this style as the +4 boost in Pace and the +8 boost in Crossing and Curve. The +4 boosts in Vision, Short Passing, Long Passing and Agility round up the perfect boosts for this card.
FUT Ballers Luis Diaz: Complete or Yeet?
He’s cheap, he’s easy to upgrade, has very good stats in the right places and for 14.9K and 5 games in Squad Battles or Rivals you can get an 86 rated fodder card and an 88 rated card that is genuinely good to play with and because of that this SBC is definitely worth it. My verdict: Complete!
