We’re at that stage of FIFA where fantasy turns into reality and we see players get cards that play in positions with excellence that have nothing to do with their real life skills and starting off with the first big player we have France and FC Bayern München defender Dayot Upamecano with his CAM Shapeshifters SBC available in FIFA Ultimate Team now!
The former RB Leipzig star’s SBC is quite expensive, coming in at a price of 364.6K coins and needs 4 segments to unlock the card.
He has some incredible stats and characteristics such as:
- 93 Acceleration and 96 Sprint Speed with the Controlled AcceleRATE type allows him to be very fast making long runs in midfield
- Incredible shooting both inside and outside the box with 95 Positioning, 91 Finishing, 97 Shot Power, 90 Long Shots, 87 Volleys and 90 Penalties with the Finesse Shot Trait
- 95 Vision, 90 Crossing, 97 Short Passing, 95 Long Passing and 88 Curve with the Flair Passes trait means that he can distribute the ball centrally or out wide with ease and accuracy
- 88 Agility, 92 Balance, 96 Reactions, 92 Ball Control, 94 Dribbling and 97 Composure means that he’ll be responsive on the ball and very quick to execute skill moves
- For an attacking player, having 70+ in all defensive stats with 77 Standing Tackle and 80 Sliding Tackle will make him very good at pressing high up the pitch
- Being 6’1 with 99 Jumping and 77 Heading Accuracy will make him a formidable aerial presence
- 90 Stamina means he won’t need to be substituted for 75+ minutes
- 99 Strength and 95 Aggression means he will be almost impossible to beat in a physical duel or 50/50
- He has 5-Star Skill Moves which will allow him to use his incredible dribbling and beat players with ease
- High/Medium workrates are perfect for an attacking midfielder
His ideal position in the game is difficult to decipher. He would be an insane secondary ST in a 4-4-1-1, he’d be able to perform the role of a static central CAM in a 4-2-3-1 with ease and also be a very powerful attacking CM in a 4-3-2-1. He is an incredibly versatile player and will be able to perform a variety of roles in your team.
He has a similar player profile to Prime Icon Zinedine Zidane. They are bulky players with silky smooth dribbling skills as well as impeccable shooting/passing abilities. They elevate their team no matter where they play and will be an asset both in attack and defence.
The card has no discernible drawbacks other than his High and Stocky body type that might make him a little clunky.
What Chemistry Style to use for Shapeshifters Dayot Upamecano?
It is hard to suggest one Chemistry Style because what style you use will depend on what role you want him to play. If you play him as a pure CAM then it’s best to use ENGINE to compensate for his clunky body type by boosting Dribbling, if you use him as an attacking CM then give him a SHADOW to boost Defending capabilities and if you plan to use him as a striker then it’s best to use HUNTER to give him a maximum Pace boost with a Shooting boost.
Shapeshifters Dayot Upamecano: Complete or Yeet?
This is the best SBC I’ve seen since Team of the Season was launched a few weeks ago and it gets me excited for Shapeshifters as a promo. Well priced, incredibly useful card that is versatile enough to play 3 different positions with excellence is exactly what we want to see from SBC’s at this stage of the cycle which is why this SBC is definitely worth it. My verdict: Complete!
