- Fantastic shooting stats with 96 Positioning, 97 Finishing and 97 Shot Power, he’s lethal inside the box
- 84 Vision, 83 Crossing and 90 Short Passing allows him to play one-twos and be very precise playing with his back to goal
- 87 Agility, 95 Reactions, 87 Ball Control, 92 Dribbling and 91 Composure with his Unique body type make him very solid and responsive on the ball despite his big frame
- 99 Heading Accuracy, 85 Jumping with his Power Header Trait and his 6’3 Height will make him a formidable aerial presence
- 99 Strength and 87 Aggression means he won’t be beaten easily in a physical duel
- 4-Star Skill moves give him a lot of meta skills at his disposal and the -Star Weak Foot means he can use his lethal finishing with both feet
- High/Low workrates are perfect for a Target Man Striker
His ideal position in-game would be as a pure Target Man in a 3-5-2 or a 5-4-1 setup. Having a big, tall striker up top with good aerial ability in a system where wingbacks are whipping in crosses while a second more agile Striker is available to play the ball to is a system where Lukaku will thrive.
He has a similar player profile to that of Team of the Season Harry Kane and Team of the Season Robert Lewandowski. They each have their own unique strengths but overall their profiles are catered to being extremely clinical target men.
The card does have a few drawbacks such as:
- 83 Balance with his big frame makes him clunky and slow to turn
- 85 Stamina means he will need to be substituted after 70+ Minutes
- He can’t have the Lengthy AcceleRATE type due to his stat distribution
