The big man himself, the Captain of the legendary Arsenal Invincibles, a leader in ever way you can imagine a person to be, is here. It may be July, but this will still make heads turn as Patrick Vieira has his Trophy Titans Icon SBC available in FIFA Ultimate Team now!
The French midfielder’s SBC is extremely expensive, coming in at a price of 1.5M coins and needs 12 segments to unlock the card.
The card has some incredible stats and characteristics such as:
- 87 Acceleration and 84 Sprint Speed with his Lengthy AcceleRATE type will make him adequately fast in long sprints
- 86 Shot Power and Long Shots means he can take a decent shot at goal from outside the box
- 91 Vision, Short Passing and Long Passing gives him good central ball distribution
- 91 Reactions and Ball Control, with 87 Dribbling and 93 Composure makes him solid with the ball at his feet
- 96 Interceptions, 87 Defensive Awareness, 96 Standing Tackle and 89 Sliding Tackle make him exceptionally solid in defence
- 83 Jumping and 85 Heading Accuracy isn’t very high but with is 6’4 Height and the Power Header Trait make him very good in the air as well
- 96 Stamina means he won’t need to be substituted for 85+ minutes
- 92 Strength and 95 Aggression means he will almost always come out on top in physical duels and 50/50’s
- 4-Star Weak Foot is good enough for him to play the ball out with either feet
- Medium/High workrates are perfect for a CDM
His ideal position in game would be as a primary CDM in a 2 midfielder pivot such as a 4-2-3-1, 4-2-2-2, 3-5-2 or a 4-3-3(3). He isn’t very good at progressing the ball by himself but is a defensive powerhouse which means that he will be able to play the ball out to his midfield partner and focus on making sure the defence is shored up at all times.
He has a similar player profile to that of Team of the Season Khéphren Thuram. Honestly, it is very hard to quantify Vieira’s profile because it’s so unique. Thuram comes close but even he isn’t quite like Vieira who is a magnetic presence in the defensive midfield and will almost always be the winner in a challenge.
The card does have some drawbacks such as:
- 76 Agility and 72 Balance with his 6’4 Height make him very slow to turn in game
- If you don’t close the opponent down in time his 84 base Sprint Speed will catch him out

The suggested Chemistry Style for Trophy Titans Patrick Vieira is: SHADOW. With his base AcceleRATE type being Lengthy the boost in Pace while maxing out his Defending will make him almost an unmatched force in midfield.
Trophy Titans Patrick Vieira: Complete or Yeet?
I’ll be honest, this card is extremely overpriced right now. With limited grinding options available and the fact that there are a lot of great CMs/CDMs available in the game for a fraction of this price and while they might not outperform Vieira, they aren’t outclassed by him either. If we get better grinding options in the future then maybe it might be worth putting fodder into him but right now this SBC cannot be advised and is just not worth it. My verdict: YEET!
