He has a lot of good characteristics such as:
- 89 Acceleration and 87 Sprint Speed with his Explosive AcceleRATE type make him feel rapid in game
- Good shooting stats with 85 Positioning and 88 Shot Power with 82 Finishing means that he will be able to take a chance with late runs into the box
- 90 Vision with 88 Short Passing and 87 Long Passing allow him to distribute the final ball to the attackers with precision
- Great Dribbling stats with 95 Agility, 88 Balance, 88 Ball Control, 90 Dribbling and 87 Ball Control and 85 Reactions with the Flair Trait allow him to keep the ball close and carry it forward
- 80 Strength is enough for a small player to not be pushed off easily when being pressed by a strong defender
- 86 Stamina allows him to play until the 80th minute before needing to be substituted
- 4-Star Skill Moves and 4-Star Weak Foot are good enough for an attacking midfielder
- High/Medium Workrates are ideal for his midfield positions
His ideal position in game would be as a central CAM in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3(4) playing in the traditional number 10 role, finding passes and connecting the midfield to attack.
He has a similar player profile to FUT Future Stars Fabio Vieira and FUT Future Stars Vitinha, having a well rounded card more suited for attacking and creating chances with dribbling and passing.
His card has some drawbacks including:
- 79 Crossing and 79 Curve are not good enough to provide balls into the box from wide areas for a header
- 75 Aggression means he won’t attack loose balls and 50/50’s
- He has the Average body type which will make him clunky
- He lacks outside of the box shooting capabilities which are needed for a CAM

The suggested Chemistry Style for Showdown Morgan Gibbs-White is: Engine. The +4 Pace and +5 Passing boost as well as the +5 boosts in dribbling compensate for his clunkiness in game and boost his strengths to get the best out of him.
Will Showdown Morgan Gibbs-White be upgraded?
With Nottingham Forest playing Wolverhampton Wolves at home there is a good chance Forest win and Showdown Morgan Gibbs-White will be upgraded with a +2 boost to all in game stats. Showdown Morgan Gibbs-White: Complete or Yeet?
He is very expensive and you can buy a close alternative for a very similar price. If he gets upgraded he will be a good card but it will be hard to justify the cost if you use coins. My verdict: Yeet! Unless you craft him using untradable cards.
