- Top tier passing for a wide player with 88 Vision, 99 Crossing, 98 Free-kick accuracy, 90 Short Passing and 97 Curve
- Good Dribbling stats like 93 Agility, 91 Balance, 90 Reactions, 94 Ball Control, 93 Dribbling with the Flair Trait
- Good Defensive presence with 80 Interceptions and 84 Defensive Awareness
- 85 Strength and 80 Aggression gives him a good chance at winning physical duels with attackers and fullbacks
- 94 Stamina allows him to play 85+ minutes as a wingback

His best position in game would be as an LM/RM in a 3-back formation. HIs stats, workrates and traits make him perfect to play in that position.
He has a similar player profile to that of Team of the Season Kudus and Team of the Season Mitoma. Both those players have better offensive and slightly worse defensive capabilities than Grifo but have the same balance in attack vs defence.
The card has a few drawbacks such as:
- 80 Composure is quite low at this stage and will make him miss his passes/shots when under pressure
- 75 Jumping and 77 Heading Accuracy make him poor in the air both offensively and defensively despite his 5’11 Height
- He has the Average body type which makes him quite clunky in game
