Serie A TOTS Predicted Starting XI
Serie A is the first of the top five divisions which EA are going to release. With the Milan sides returning to the top of the Serie A title race this season, the side is largely dominated by both sides, with several star names featuring within the 18-man squad.
GK: Mike Maignan (AC Milan) - 87 OVR -> 95 OVR:
The French goalkeeper has been nothing short of world-class for AC Milan in the 2025/26 campaign, delivering 31 starts, 11 clean sheets, 87 saves, and just 24 goals conceded as the Rossoneri boast the second-best defensive record in the division. While recent form for the club as a while has dropped off I feel Maignan throughout the season has done enough here.
LB: Federico Dimarco (Inter Milan) - 85 OVR -> 95 OVR:
Dimarco leads the assist charts in Italy with a phenomenal thirteen assists, which, alongside his six goals in a table-topping Inter Milan side, must result in his inclusion this season. With some favourable playstyles, I am sure Dimarco will be one of the most popular LB options in the game with this card.
CB: Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan) - 87 OVR -> 94 OVR:
Sticking with Inter Milan for CB we have Bastoni. The Italian has once again been a key figure in Inter Milan’s title-chasing campaign, combining defensive solidity with excellent ball-playing ability from the back. His composure in possession and ability to progress play make him one of the standout centre-backs in Serie A.
CB: Bremer (Juventus) - 85 OVR -> 94 OVR:
Bremer has been a defensive rock for Juventus this season, consistently delivering dominant performances at the back. His strength in duels, aerial ability, and leadership have been crucial in maintaining one of the league’s strongest defensive records. Additionally he adds attacking returns to his game, sitting on three goals and four assists he seems nailed on for this side.
RB: Wesley (Roma) - 77 OVR -> 93 OVR:
The Brazilian right-back has been a breakout revelation for AS Roma making 26 appearances in Serie A with 4 goals and 1 assist. The Giallorossi have leaned on his electric overlapping runs, pinpoint crosses, and composure in the final third as they fight for a top-four finish, with Wesley’s defensive side making him a complete modern full-back. He’s quickly established himself as one of Serie A’s most exciting young defenders.
CAM: Nico Paz (Como) - 79 OVR -> 96 OVR:
Nico Paz has been one of the standout players in Serie A this season, headlining Como’s shock Champions League push. With nine goals and six assists to his name, there’s no wonder he looks set to be joining Real Madrid in the summer. With four promotional cards already to his name, EA seemingly like pushing Paz, but regardless of that, his TOTS inclusion is inevitable.
CM: Luka Modric (AC Milan) - 83 OVR -> 95 OVR:
Modric continues to prove that age is just a number, with his performances for AC Milan this campaign being among the top in the division. The Croatian, in fact, has obtained the highest average Gazzetta rating this season as he continues to control matches from the middle of the pitch.
CM: Scott McTominay (Napoli) - 85 OVR -> 94 OVR:
McTominay is somewhat of a favourite in general, with the Scotsman’s performances since leaving Man United making him among the best midfielders in the world in terms of the Ballon d'Or ranking system. While not to the same extent as last season, McTominay has still been a key player for Napoli, with seven goals and three assists.
CAM: Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) - 79 OVR -> 96 OVR:
Yildiz started the season with Juventus at a ridiculous level which was unsustainable across the full campaign. The Turkish midfielder has been one of their key performers throughout, however, and is nailed on for a spot in this side with ten goals and six assists to his name.
ST: Donyell Malen (Roma) - 79 OVR -> 94 OVR:
While Malen has only been with Roma for half the season, I feel that his impact within this side is enough to force EA’s hand. He is already among the top goalscorers in the division, having scored ten goals from his opening twelve Serie A appearances, with the Dutchman gaining a lot of plaudits for his performances so far in Italy.
ST: Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan) - 88 OVR -> 97 OVR:
One of the first names into the side is the leading scorer in Serie A, Martínez. The Argentine has been a constant source of goals throughout his career with Inter Milan and leads the Golden Boot race this season with sixteen to his name.

Serie A TOTS Predicted Subs & Reserves
GK: Marco Carnesecchi (Atalanta) - 84 OVR -> 93 OVR:
As is often the case with Serie A, there were a lot of goalkeepers to select from, with numerous excelling between the sticks. Despite being down in seventh, Atalanta have only conceded 28 goals from 32 matches. Carnesecchi has played a key role in that statistic and also obtains the highest average Gazzetta rating among keepers.
CB: Strahinja Pavlovic (AC Milan) - 76 OVR -> 91 OVR:
Considering the low number of total goals scored within Serie A, it’s surprising to see so many defenders with strong attacking returns. Pavlović is another of those, with the AC Milan defender scoring four times to go alongside a defensive record of below a goal a game conceded.
CM: Weston McKennie (Juventus) - 78 OVR -> 93 OVR:
There were a plethora of central options within Serie A this season, with not a lot out wide, largely due to the formations played in the division. McKennie was one of many CMs in with a shout this season and, with the American having a big fanbase, I would expect EA to sway in his direction as a result.
CM: Piotr Zielinski (Inter) - 80 OVR -> 92 OVR:
Zieliński plays a role for Inter Milan which can easily go under the radar when it comes to selecting these sides, but with Inter likely securing the title in the coming weeks, the CM in that side often gets the nod for TOTS, with the role being a difficult one to fulfil. There were only three midfielders with a higher average rating than Zieliński, and considering he doesn’t get many attacking returns, that speaks wonders for his consistency.
CM: Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter) - 86 OVR -> 95 OVR:
The final Inter player to make my prediction is Çalhanoğlu. The Turkish midfielder is another who plays a key role in Inter’s success and has received numerous TOTS inclusions over the course of his career. Another looks set to be on the way after recording seven goals and three assists from the middle of the park.
ST: Tasos Douvikas (Como) - 73 OVR -> 92 OVR:
It would perhaps be easy to ignore Douvikas due to being a smaller name, but the Como striker is the league’s second-highest goalscorer after only Martínez. He’s helped lead Como towards an historic league finish, which, should they make the top four, would be their highest ever finish.
ST: Rafael Leao (AC Milan) - 84 OVR -> 95 OVR:
Do I feel that Leão deserves a spot in this side? Probably not, but he is a fringe candidate and with the pull that he brings within the game, I don’t feel that EA will want to exclude him. This is a business after all. With eight goals to his name, the Portuguese talisman has been rather hit and miss this season. I just feel that he is forced into the side.
